TETRA PAK, or liquid packaging, some people incorrectly classify it in the category of cardboard. TETRA PAK is made up of three different materials, paper, aluminium and polymers and the way it is handled and recycled is different from that of cardboard.
It is therefore collected separately and sent to certified companies for recycling.
In Greece there is only one single factory for tetra pak processing, located in Karditsa, ‘LM ECO’.
